The 1st lambing season was devastating. After a huge thunder storm, we found our 1st miscarried twin lambs in the paddock. One ewe didn't lamb at all and the other one did have twins, which was cause for much celebration. They were both ewe lambs, so we have kept these to increase our flock and have changed the ram out.
These sheep only come in season once per year. This is a pic of our new arrivals, just hours old. (You can see the type of soil we had).

After all this, about 1 1/2 years of setting up and planning, the landlord decided to sell up, so we and our little farm were put out.
Right about this time Jamie, my husband, got his final little payout from workcover. This allowed us to move on. We just didn't have anywhere to go.
