The veggie patch

The time has come, with spring fast approaching, to think on the veggie patch. I don't think it has been dug over for years and when i tried, i bent my garden fork and the spade was very slow going. i only dug about 1/2 metre square in about an hour. Time to bring in the big guns, rotary hoe.

Out of the 2 rotary hoes we had, one supplied by the landlord and one we brought with us, none of them would start. With none of us being particularly mechanical, we took our hoe in to town to get repaired. $150 later and a couple of weeks for them to look at it and about 3 more weeks for us to pay it off, we have it home...

We haven't had a chance to use it yet, it seems it hasn't stopped raining since it has been here. Hoping to get in there today and at least get a start.
